The Perfect Companion to Claire de Lune Chandelier

The inspiration for the Chandelier Table came from the graphic lines of the Claire de Lune Chandelier. Claire Requa wanted to create a product that would not only complement the chandelier but also stand out on its own. The engravings on the table give it a lace-like pattern, adding to its charm and uniqueness.

The Chandelier Table is made using laser-cut acrylic with etching, designed with inspiration from the Claire de Lune Chandelier. The use of acrylic gives the table a clear and invisible appearance, allowing it to blend seamlessly with any interior design style.

Measuring 20 x 20 x 40 cm, the Chandelier Table is the perfect size for holding a lamp, books, or decorative items. It is flat-packed and packaged in a reusable bag made of recyclable polypropylene, reflecting Claire Requa's commitment to sustainable design.

Creating the Chandelier Table posed several challenges. Claire Requa wanted to use smaller pieces of acrylic, which are usually considered waste, to make a functional and beautiful product. To achieve this, special screws were designed, requiring a specially designed tool for assembly. An engineer was called in to help create the necessary tooled parts for assembly.

The Chandelier Table project lasted approximately half a year and was designed and produced in Copenhagen. It underwent extensive research to ensure it would be a perfect complement to the Claire de Lune Chandelier.

Recognized for its exceptional design, the Chandelier Table was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2013. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Chandelier Table's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics contribute to a better world.
